*Shep - Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal with Ice water (this is an ongoing theme for him...he doesn't drink milk and rarely asks for anything other than water).
*Rauly - Mama's Best Oats and Honey cereal (this is an organic cereal that is VERY affordable and delicious!) with skim milk to drink.
Lunch
*1/2 All Natural Peanut Butter/Honey sandwich on double fiber whole wheat bread.
*Organic Carrots
*Pirates Booty (veggie)
*Ice water
Dessert
*Homemade vanilla cupcake with choco icing.

*Organic Red Apple with green grapes

*scoop of salsa/sour cream (fyi...we don't do low fat on hardly anything anymore...yuck yuck!).

In an effort to better serve my children through mealtime/nutrition, I've decided to start holding myself accountable to what it is I'm putting in their little bodies. I'm going to do my best to blog about their meals and keep a food dialogue. I always think I'm giving them nutritious foods, but there have been many days when I've thought about the options I've provided them and been down-right embarrassed! I desire to glorify God in all things...including ensuring that I'm helping my children to grow strong, healthy bodies that can better serve HIM!
